🎉❗ We have just released 𝗼𝗵𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲-𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘁, a new software library on GitHub that facilitates the transformation of raw OpenStreetMap history data into the 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘁 format, making it more accessible and efficient for spatial data analysis.
With ohsome-planet, we make a big step toward the development of 𝗼𝗵𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝟮.𝟬.

We have recently expanded the Quality API and its dashboard, introducing a new indicator to assess attribute completeness in .

We now add new options to the Attribute Completeness Indicator:
▫️ Multi-Attribute Queries: Check completeness for multiple attributes at once.
▫️ Custom Attribute Filters: define key-value combos with “and” / “or” logic.

Day 20:

🛣️ How up-to-date is road data in ?

This map shows the recency (“currentness”) of edits to road data in urban centers around the world.

Currentness is a crucial factor in determining data quality. Higher values suggest more up-to-date areas, while lower values may indicate less reliable information.

The map was created using the quality API (OQAPI): dashboard.ohsome.org/#backend=

Day 18:

🏙️ Today´s map shows where building stock is located worldwide. It highlights a particularly high building density in East and Southeast Asia.

Benjamin Herfort & al. created this map and compared it with building data in using (dashboard.ohsome.org/). They analyzed building data completeness for 13,189 urban areas in , proposing solutions for the data gaps.
