We have just released 𝗼𝗵𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲-𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘁, a new software library on GitHub that facilitates the transformation of raw OpenStreetMap history data into the 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘁 format, making it more accessible and efficient for spatial data analysis.
With ohsome-planet, we make a big step toward the development of 𝗼𝗵𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝟮.𝟬.

We have recently expanded the #ohsome Quality API and its dashboard, introducing a new indicator to assess attribute completeness in #OpenStreetMap.

We now add new options to the Attribute Completeness Indicator:
Multi-Attribute Queries: Check completeness for multiple attributes at once.
Custom Attribute Filters: define key-value combos with “and” / “or” logic.

This map shows the recency (“currentness”) of edits to #OSM road data in urban centers around the world.

Currentness is a crucial factor in determining data quality. Higher values suggest more up-to-date areas, while lower values may indicate less reliable information.
