Today´s map shows where building stock is located worldwide. It highlights a particularly high building density in East and Southeast Asia.

Benjamin Herfort & al. created this map and compared it with building data in #OpenStreetMap using #ohsome (https://dashboard.ohsome.org/). They analyzed building data completeness for 13,189 urban areas in #OSM, proposing solutions for the data gaps.
